Workplace Options Opens its 12th Global Service Centre in Bangalore, India
Newest location continues run of global expansion – 5th new location in past 18 months
London – (20 August 2014) — Today, Workplace Options, a leading global Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and employee well-being service provider, announced the addition of a new Global Service Centre in Bangalore, India. The Bangalore location is the company’s 12th new Service Centre and fifth new addition of the past 18 months.
The new Bangalore location will be home to a multi-functional team equipped to handle the growing demand for employee well-being services across India and Asia. Immediately, it becomes Workplace Options’ third largest office behind the company’s global headquarters in the United States (North Carolina) and its UK headquarters in Ealing, London.
“Over the past decade, there has been a surge of worldwide interest in employee well-being services, and demand is particularly high across India and Asia,” said Dean Debnam, chief executive officer of Workplace Options. “Businesses know that emotional, physical, and practical support programmes for their employees are absolutely vital to success. By adding this team in India, we are better able to serve the clients we have across the region right now, and we instantly add the capacity to grow our business in this part of the world.”
Workplace Options provides localised employee support to clients across the world through EAP services, employee wellness programmes, and work-life services available around the clock. The Bangalore office includes a fully staffed service centre that is already serving clients across the region, along with dedicated sales, account management, information technology, and implementation teams.
“Over the past two years, we’ve invested more in our global infrastructure than the rest of the employee well-being industry combined,” Debnam added. “Employers want their people throughout the world to have access to the help they need to be healthy, happy, and engaged. We are one of the few companies that can provide comprehensive support to every employee a company has, anywhere in the world.”
The new Workplace Options office in India joins others in the United Kingdom (London), Ireland (Dublin), Canada (Toronto), Singapore, Panama (Panama City), Japan (Tokyo), Portugal (Lisbon) and the United States (Raleigh, N.C., Chesapeake, Va., Arlington, Va., and Bellevue, Wash.)
Before the end of 2014, Workplace Options is planning to add more locations, including another service center in Jakarta, Indonesia, to support its growth.
“We help employees around the world balance their work, family and personal needs,” said Alan King, president and chief operating officer of Workplace Options. “The companies we work with understand the incredible impact this has on the morale, engagement, and productivity of their workforce – as well as their bottom line.”
